On the afternoon of December 23, the 2021 Academic Advances Award Ceremony & Academic Seminar of Huazhong University of Science of Technology (HUST) was held at Mingde Lecture Hall, Wutongyu Academic Exchange Center.

On December 2nd, the first HUST and University of Toronto (U of T) Symposium on Biomedical Engineering and Science of Brain was successfully held via video link. This seminar was co-sponsored by the relevant departments of the two universities.

On November 18th, 2021, the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) announced its list of newly elected members with Wu Tangchun, a professor in the School of Public Health, Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, honored as this year's newest member.

The inauguration ceremony of the HUST-Siemens Digital Twin Research Center was held at Wutongyu Academic Exchange Center on Nov 17th. Xie Xiaolin, Vice President of HUST and Zhu Xiaoxun, Executive Vice President of Siemens CN attended the ceremony.
